We make a lot of noise about braais, cooking, baking....and just recently we have mentioned the stainless steel we make for a local yacht manufacturer in Knysna.
We were chatting about all the people who deal with Botany Stainless Steel and we wondered how many of our braai clients were aware of the other product we manufacture or even that we can custom make for them or other people.
We initially started Botany Stainless Steel as a stainless steel jobbing company. Jobbing meaning that we made whatever people wanted made...as long as it in stainless steel.
We made a claim, or perhaps it was a challenge to both our clients or ourselves, where we said, "If you can draw it we can make it".
Well that became a very "interesting" time in our career and it tested our abilities and that of our staff. But. it showed us that we could meet the challenge and could produce anything that people wanted in stainless steel.
We eventually realised that we had to go into more of a manufacturing scenario in order to stay profitable and not constantly be changing the job functions of the staff in our workshop.
Well we now have a few lines that we specialise in and I thought it was time to show what they are and ask you to help us by telling people you know and who may need product that we make and that will offer them a better, longer life quality of product in their homes.
Still all hand made, fully welded and fine polished to add vlue to your investments.

GATE AND DOOR HARDWARE:
We also make locks, hinges and latches that are made to withstand all the bashing that the weather and outdoors can throw at them.
They are made in a material called 316 grade stainless steel, which is what is used on boats in the ocean because it can take sea air, salt , water and weather abuse and they will stay looking good with minimal care and maintenance.

BOATING PARTS:
We also make a full range of products that are used on yachts and other boats. Again all in marine grade 316 stainless steel and finished to add aesthetic and hard long life quality to the boats that are fitted to.
These include helms chairs, hand rails, braai rails, push pits and pull pits grab rails, boarding gates, chaff plates and even stove fiddles.
