WHY FIT STUFF IN STAINLESS STEEL ?
Well it won't rust is the first obvious answer...
Then one of the better answers, that is more relevant right now is that stainless it is more environmentally friendly that other materials normally used in construction.
Why ?
Well, Stainless Steel is processed once to shape it into the finished product. It is finished once and without having to apply primer and then a finishing coat.
And
Once in service, it never needs to be stripped using corrosive components, to be resurfaced ...all that it takes if a reasonable maintenance routine is maintained is a wash down with a warn soapy solution.
It does not decay under outdoor weather conditions - if the correct grade is used.
It adds value to whatever place it is used in - boat, home, car....
It is hygienic because it does not absorb off the surface and is easlily cleaned.
