Due to the fact that we are based in a coastal town, we assume that everyone understands the benefits that Stainless Steel provides in their homes. Well, we were wrong, it recently was pointed out to us that most folks assume that you only need atainless steel if you live at the coast and that inland you are immune to to the evils of rust ! Well I did some checking and found that even in the Kruger park, with its dry but humid climate, they experience rust on steel products. I also read an interesting statement that said "Stainless Steel is an extremely environmentslly friendly substance " - WHY ? Well it is manufactured once from a very rust resistant material, that requires only basic "wash and wipe dry maintenance", no harsh paint removers and re-painting maintenance required. It is long lasting so it does not have many carbon footprint intrusive processes due to having to replaced every few years. It adds value to places where it is used, and it looks pleasant to the eye. |
